וְהַשְּׁמֻעָה֙ בָּ֣אָה עַד־יוֹאָ֔ב כִּ֣י יוֹאָ֗ב נָטָה֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י אֲדֹנִיָּ֔ה וְאַחֲרֵ֥י אַבְשָׁל֖וֹם לֹ֣א נָטָ֑ה וַיָּ֤נָס יוֹאָב֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל יְהוָ֔ה וַֽיַּחֲזֵ֖ק בְּקַרְנ֥וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
און װי די הערונג איז אָנגעקומען צו יוֹאָבֿן–װאָרום יוֹאָבֿ האָט זיך גענײַגט נאָך אַדוֹנִיָהן, הגם נאָך אַבֿשָלומען האָט ער זיך ניט גענײַגט–איז יוֹאָבֿ אַנטלאָפֿן צום געצעלט פֿון גאָט, און האָט זיך אָנגענומען אָן די הערנער פֿון מזבח.
